These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at couragetochangecounseling.org and any related content, features, and communications (collectively, the "Website"), operated by Courage to Change Counseling ("Courage to Change Counseling," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
The content on the Website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, psychological, or other professional advice. Using the Website, contacting us, or submitting a form does not create a therapist-client or other professional relationship. A therapeutic relationship with Courage to Change Counseling is established only after an intake process and a signed services agreement.
The Website is not intended for emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You may also call or text the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Website. By using the Website, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Website by, others. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, or use the Website to transmit unlawful, harassing, or harmful content.
Messages sent through website forms, email, or text message are not guaranteed to be secure or confidential. Please do not send sensitive clinical details or protected health information through these channels. Communications regarding your care are handled through secure methods described during intake and in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Information about our services, fees, and accepted insurance, including the Oregon Health Plan, is provided for general reference and may change without notice. The terms of any care you receive are governed by the services agreement you sign with us, not by the Website.
The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and images, are the property of Courage to Change Counseling or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Website without our prior written permission.
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We provide these links for convenience only and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.
